90s girl in a upside down world.
Negativity constantly hurled
At my face or race,
But we still rise with grace.
I love music so turn up the bass
Some people walked out my life without a trace.
I’ll always say, “I’m black and Proud.”
Just because I’m black that doesn’t mean I’m loud
I can wear a dress and feel cute
I’m still cute even if I wear a suit.
Decided I would never let anyone bring me down
Baby girl, never let anyone remove your crown.
